Over the last month or so my new obsession has beenĀ playing 3d printing. I’ve wanted a printer for a while, but most of the designs that appealed were far to expensive to justify for what is essentially a toy (at least for me).
Enter the cheap chinese printer, specifically the Wanhao Duplicator i3 and a new hobby was started.
Considering I’ve had so much help from the community with this printer I thought it would be worthwhile writing down some of my experiences as I continue to modify it, and look to start on my second machine.
Welcome to the world of 3D printing! I just hope you’re stubborn because sometimes plastic doesn’t always do what you want it to do.
